Hi, I’m Babygirl!

I’m a 2-year-old Lab mix with the sweetest heart, but I’m also a very scared girl. When I first arrived at the shelter, I was so overwhelmed that I completely shut down. The shelter can be a big, scary place for a sensitive girl like me.

I’m sweet underneath all that fear, and I just need someone who understands that trust takes time. A patient, quiet home where I can decompress and learn that I’m safe would mean the world to me.

Having a confident, friendly dog around may also help me come out of my shell and show the loving girl hiding underneath. I may not be the dog who runs up to greet you right away, but with patience, kindness, and time, I’m hoping to learn what it feels like to be loved.
