Hi, my name is Sunshine !
I’m a young dog, and the world still feels pretty big and scary to me. I was rescued from a homeless camp, and I’m still learning what it means to feel safe and cared for. Right now, I’m very shy and quiet, and shelter life can be overwhelming, I tend to shut down in my kennel because I don’t quite know what to do yet.

I don’t know how to walk on a leash, and new things make me nervous, but I have a very soft heart. What I do know is how wonderful it feels to be gentle and loved. Belly rubs are my favorite... they help me relax and remind me that I’m safe. When someone is calm and kind with me, I melt.

I’m looking for a patient, understanding home where I can move at my own pace and learn that the world isn’t so scary after all. With time, love, and reassurance, I know I can grow into the sweet girl I’m meant to be.
