Hi there! We’re Duke and Duchess, a bonded pair of 8-year-old wire-haired Chihuahua mixes looking for our forever home together. We’ve been together our whole lives, and we truly are each other’s better half. Where one goes, the other follows, and we’d love to find a family who will let us keep doing everything side by side.

We’re both house-trained, crate-trained, and very well-behaved in the home. We’re also great with kids, other dogs, cats, and pretty much anyone we meet! We’re happiest when we’re with our people, whether that means relaxing at home, going for a walk, or heading out for an adventure.

Duke: I’m the happy, playful, energetic one! I love squeaky toys, stuffed toys, and especially balls. You’ll often find me looking out the window, snuggling on the couch, or following my people around because I don’t want to miss anything. I’ve still got plenty of spunk and energy, and I’m always ready to have some fun.

Duchess: I’m the calmer one and a bit more observant. I like to take things in and watch what’s happening around me, but I’m every bit as affectionate as Duke. I love walks, attention, and being close to my people. And if you bring out treats or my leash? Suddenly I’m ready to show you all my tricks and match Duke’s energy!

We may be 8 years old, but we’ve got plenty of life and adventure left in us. We love going places, spending time with our people, and enjoying all the little things together. We’re a perfect balance of playful and calm, and we bring double the love wherever we go.

We’ve already mastered the important stuff! Good manners, being comfortable in a home, and loving our people. Now all we need is a family who has room for two best friends.
