Oahu SPCA is in desperate need of funds to help us take care of the Maili Point Rescues
	The Oahu SPCA rescued approximately 70 dogs, cats, newborn puppies and kittens during the Maili Point Beach Sweep. All the animals rescued have been safely transported to the shelter in Kapolei. The Oahu SPCA spent the last two weeks talking to the the homeless camp residents offering to foster or take posession of their companion animals. This made it possible for them to move to transitional housing that does not allow pets. More than half of the animals were relinquished to the Oahu SPCA to be rehabilitated and adopted. The remainder will be fostered until their owners are able to care for them again.
